She's a Rainbow

It's my favorite time of year: PRIDE. I love rainbows on any given day, but as a queer person they mean so much more during the month of June! I'm loving this dress I got from Dead Doll (absolutely one of my favorite stores) as part of Pride at Home.

June is also one of my favorite months out of the year because in Second Life that means it's time for Hair Fair. When I was but a fledgling newbie avatar, Hair Fair is where I began to turn into something more! I got my first hair there as a gift, and I have been obsessed with my wigs ever since. I am wearing an exclusive from Sintiklia at Hair Fair today. It's got so many options, with 3 types of bangs and removable flower in the back... it took me 30 minutes just to decide how to wear it today.

My adventures today took me to Sunny's Photo Studio again. I struggled to find the right setting for my outfit. So I just went with it on the backdrops without poses! This is also the first time I've experimented with photography in Black Dragon. I was not disappointed.

The ability to adjust poses is spectacular. Even though I am slightly less curvy in this Legacy body, I still have more curves than most pose makers account for. I am actually using older poses in most of these shots, so that adds another element. Poses that were made pre-mesh bodies are something else!

And for the first time I have started to also make minor adjustments and edits to my photos. I still want to truly capture what is seen in Second Life; it is just nice to be able to fix minor things that bug me out in pictures and to adjust the lighting to bring out what I was hoping for.
